CAMBRIDGE ARTWORKS is an artist-run co-operative of 18 resident studio artists working in individual studios within a former cabinet-maker’s workshop near the centre of Cambridge. All 18 resident studio artists share in decision-making and the day-to-day running of the building, whilst upholding the ethos of the original mission statement ‘to provide artists with affordable studio space and to act as a resource within the local community’.
All of our studios are currently full, however, there are regular openings throughout the year. We operate on a 2-month notice period, so we maintain a list of interested artists. When a studio becomes available, there is an application process which includes a portfolio review.
